About Surnames
Surnames entered by you in your member profile are uploaded periodically to the main Surnames page. Changes to the surnames entered in your profile will not be immediately reflected on the Surnames page.
Surnames is a CAGG-NI service intended to help members connect with other internet users who are researching persons with the same surname. The Surnames page is not behind the member firewall, it is available to the general public.
Surnames can be entered during the membership application process, or anytime, by editing your member profile after logging into your account.
Security Alert!
The email address you enter for the Surname page will be publicly accessible. While CAGG-NI takes reasonable precautions to prevent your email addresses from being harvested from the Surnames page, we cannot guarantee your email address will not be collected by undesirables. For this reason, we recommend you enter a secondary email address in the "Email for Surnames" field on your member profile.
